Foto Friday

Looking through these photos I noticed I’ve been reading a lot more lately. Almost all the photos are of books, or things I have found in books. Yay for books, they fill me with life and inspirations. Anyone been reading anything interesting lately?

I founds a delicious recipe for this Pomegranate-Banana Lassi. I can’t wait to make it!

Another shot from a page in the book ‘Around Australia with Jacky Winter’. Such clever typography.

This is a page from the newest Post Secret book.

My friend Joel was reading this and said it is quite great.

A little melfie after work on Sunday

This is the jacket I made today, using that fabric I’ve spoken about it previous posts. Didn’t actually turn out too bad.

My lovely brother left this for me, such a thoughtful boy!

This here is another piece of my collection, it’s like a tunic/top/dress thing. It’s menswear.

Is it just me or are the weeks flying by. I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the year. How are all your new years resolutions going? I totally failed mine. Haha, oops. Oh well, I suppose I can try again next year.

Here’s foto friday!

The sky and moon was doing some crazy shit one night and I totally forgot I took this awesome photo

The weekend past was so lovely and sunny. I took this while sitting outside in the Bourke Street Mall on my lunch break

We shot a mini doco at New Model Beauty Queen and this is me hiding behind one of their skull screens. So cool.

This wall of threads is also from New Model Beauty Queen. It’s just like a rainbow only it’s threads.

My dads famous garlic barbecued fish. So yum!

Sharing this doughboys passionfruit and chocolate doughnut at uni today

I started cutting my jacket today. I’m not as stressed about it anymore. The jacket will still look nice, would have looked nicer in black, but it still looks nice. I just need to finish it on time!

Foto Friday

Hello. It’s not Friday I know but I want to bring back Foto Friday to my blog. (Here are the ones I meant to post on Friday.) It’s a little bit trickier these days because I usually post most of my photos on Instagram. My idea is to post different ones here, ones that wont be on Instagram. I realised I don’t take as many photos these days as I used to, hopefully this will change!

At Pellegrini’s with my friend. I think he had the ravioli and we both had the yummy watermelon granita.

My friends being antisocial. Haha, not really but it looks like it. We were about to go to the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition, I think.

This here is a toile of one of the pieces in my collection. It’s just to test the pattern, so the final will be in different colours and fabric.

This is a mini Jean Paul Gaultier from the exhibition at the NGV

I saw this book at the bookstore and I really want it

Anyone who follows me on Instagram knows how much I love neons. This one is obviously at the NGV from the exhibition.

I’ve been making these a lot lately. Flat bread with chicken, mayo, lettuce and tomato. Simple but so satisfying.

I visited New Model Beauty Queen studio with my friends for our uni assignment. We’re making a documentary on them. These are some of there screen prints

Some lunch at home with my parents. My mum made this, in Albanian we call it ‘pita’. It’s yummy, but so many calories.

lets pretend that it is still friday

Let us pretend so that I can still post Foto Friday. Each Friday I realise that I don’t take enough photos but below are the ones I did take.

I have been spending a lot of time in Carlton lately. I don’t know why. I have been going to Readings bookstore a lot. I went to Nova today to watch a film. I have been going to Brunettis, and also to Eastern Market which I still have to share.

Late night coffee and drawing.

I found a book of Kathryn Del Bartons artwork at Readings. I need to have this book

I liked this. It was nice finding it because I had just finished reading Neil Gaiman’s Stardust.

I liked what he said here.

Inside fashion designers sketchbooks book 2. some inspiration
