monday – photo diary
I’m absolutely loving my new lens. I took my camera around with me which is always so fun. I just wish it wasn’t so heavy!
I had no plans today but the day folded out quite nicely. I went to work, met my parents for a late lunch at Riverland by the Yarra. Then I went to the Palace Cinema and watched Paris-Manhattan. I became a member of Palace Cinema so that I can reach my goal of watching 365 movies this year. My original plan was to watch a movie a day but everyone around me told me it was a silly idea and that I couldn’t do it. And I listened to them, so I decided I’d change it and still aim to watch the same amount of movies. Which means I’ll have to have movie marathons quite often, and I have no problem with doing that. I’m quite excited actually, about both the film challenge idea and also becoming a member of Palace Cinema.
I took a flyer titled “Your Summer film guide” I’ve already ticked off two out of 12 films. Here’s the list:

fabric rendering
H E L L O
hi. yesterday i pretty much worked on my folio all day. i thought i’d try some fabric rendering because i hadn’t done it in a while. i used markers and watercolors. I hadn’t used watercolor before, so i was kind of guessing about what to do next. it was actually a lot of fun and i’m happy with how they turned out.
i did this hourly photo diary, so at each hour i took a photo of what i was doing. hope you like this.
i had one song on repeat the whole day. new day by jay z and kanye best. ( i know kanye’s name is west but i like best best 
)

These photos are from Tuesday when it was nice and sunny in Melbourne. The last few days have been miserable, cold and rainy and I can’t find my umbrella!!!

I was supposed to have a healthy day with no naughty food but when I was ordering my latte I couldn’t say no to this delicious carrot cake that I swear was begging me to eat it.
Lately I seem to be taking a lot of reflection photos. This is from the reflection on my iphone.
I went into ‘Title” a record store in Fitzroy. Picked up some cute cards. Also wondering who Jack Kerouac is and thinking I should probably already know who he is.

My camera will be attached to me on a more frequent basis so I can regularly post photo diaries. Taking photos is one of my most favourite hobbies.
I took these photos today on my walk to the library, which is were I’ve been going most days to practice my drawing and do some reading.
I ended up joining a gym on the way home. Here’s to hopefully losing some winter kilos. I promise I will start going to the gym regularly from tomorrow.
