I hope you all have a fantastic Friday. Friday’s for me is not as exciting anymore. It’s the last day of uni for the week. Which means work Saturday, Sunday and Monday. That’s the life of a fashion student yo.
Also happy first day of May!
This is a cool series of doco’s called The Day Before. I’ve actually, now watched them all!
I feel like I’ve posted this here before but I’m not sure. It’s just a quick watercolor painting I did.
Me. Pardon all the selfies in this Foto Friday. You’ll notice I’ve bought a new red lipstick and I totally love it.
I went to the Night Market and had one of these yummy spirally potatoes. And of course some Sangria.

Lots of trims too. I had the urge to start tidying up for them while I was there, but I resisted. The lady actually lost her keys while I was there. I have no hope that she was able to find them :/

I found this at work. I think the other girl did it, maybe something to do with the shirts we sell having thread treads. I clothes are made in china so maybe I’m thinking that’s why its translated. No idea.
My outfit of the day for uni yesterday. The red lipstick makes things more exciting.
This is my latest book club read, and I just realised I haven’t updated you on book club. I like this picture of Patti.

I have been busy with some home organisation lately.
I stumbled across a cool haberdashery store in the nicholas building. i loved these mushrooms.
I made some yummy treats for morning tea. I’ll show you in my next post.
My lecturer showed us this cool book in class.
Delicious donuts at Movida Bakery for breakfast. Blueberry Custard is my new fave.
I bought these treats to take to my mums house. Chocolate cake with wild strawberries and coffee custard and mango tart. yum.
And also, they make amazing coffee at Movida Bakery.
Amazing room at NGV. I wish I lived in this room.

This was an interesting Japanese dish I tried. I think the place was called ITO, I’m not totally sure. It was nice. That’s an egg on top.

My favourite old shoes. I’ve had them for about 5 years and have only worn them about three times because I keep forgetting that I own them.
I went to the Australian Open yesterday. This is Ana Ivanovska and Jelena Jankovic. Ana won.
I watched a documentary on Paris back in 1900-1930. And these are a bunch of writers, artists, sculptors etc that got famous around that time.

Today was my last day at my corporate job. I have three weeks off until I start my new course. I’m a bit scared but I’m a lot excited.
1. I made some pancakes and this one looked like it had a skull on it. Way cool.
2. I saw this in Myer of all places. I want one in my house. Thanks.
3. First time having French Onion Soup at Paris Go in Carlton. A bit heavy, but very tasty and cheesy. And oniony.
4. This is the sign of a cafe in Melbourne. I can’t remember the name but it’s a nice place.

This week has been a decision making week. Full of stress and serious and not so serious thinking. I am definitely glad that it is Friday.
1. I like this book. It’s been very helpful. I’ve also read “A New Earth” by the same author and loved that one too.
2. I have the best brother in the world. I hate washing my car, so he always washes it for me.
3. This is a delicious chicken and leek pie from Emporia Cafe in Myer.
4. My friend Emily and myself, just a quick bathroom selfie before watching Moonrise Kingdom.
5. I don’t really like this arrangement and think it’s weird the mannequins don’t have any pants. However, I do love the chair and think if I sketched this it could look quite cool.
6. I want this in my room. I can just imagine coming home and feeling so relaxed and cozy after jumping right onto it. I think the bed covers are from Karen Walker.
7. This is my book purchases this week. I walked into Readings Bookstore in Carlton looking for some answers and walked out with these.
8. My really good friend Badra and I did a cookbook swap. This is Badras Nigella and I gave him Rachel Khoo’s cookbook. I love how he’s got all the tabs on the recipes he’s made and wants to make.
9. I sent a random letter to a girl who’s zine I liked. Exciting enough for me she actually replied and sent me her latest zines. We’ve decided to be pen pals which is even more exciting.
10. My street. My street photo project hasn’t really gone so well. I can’t seem to get my camera to work. I think maybe the battery is just dead. And meanwhile in the last 2-3 weeks the trees already have leaves. It looks so pretty.
11. While I was supposed to be doing my assignment I began dreaming and thinking about things and decided to rename my book.
12. This is my new Deadly Ponies bag. We’ve become quite good friends already.
13. The girl sitting next to me at the tram stop had the coolest shoes. I want them.
