I bought this beautiful Kale today from the David Jones Food hall. I haven’t seen it on sale in many places. Lately I’ve been trying to be more healthy, trying to make better food choices and trying to exercise more regularly because I feel these are two very important things and I’d like to try to get them right.

I met a lovely lady today and we spoke about what we eat, what kinds of exercise we do and what are our downfalls. And both shared our tips and things we’ve learnt along our way.

I also got a new book which is actually pretty amazing. Its called ” The Eat, Drink, and be Gorgeous Project”. I’ve learnt so much from it and I’m not even half way yet. The book also has a food log at the back and many delicious and healthy recipes. One being for Salt and Vinegar Kale Chips, which I’m going to try and make tomorrow. I’ll post the recipe up here too so you can also make them.

Just an FYI from the book: “Kale and Brussels sprouts help the liver perform the job of detoxification, rendering harmful substances into waste products that the body can eliminate….Shred ’em and steam ’em, roast ’em, or boil and mash ’em with some olive oil and sea salt- but eat 1-2 cups at least three times per week for the most protective benefits.”
