Book Giveaway

4105

Hello. I am super excited to introduce this post.

I am having my first ever blog giveaway. My super lovely, generous friend Baz is replacing some of his books and has donated six books from his collection that I will giveaway. The giveaway is only open to people in Australia, sorry to anyone who is outside of Australia.

There are 6 books.

1. Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh

2. Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert

3. Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons

4. Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon

5. Emma by Jane Austen

6. In One Person by John Irving.

So I will have one draw for each book, you guys are welcome to enter all six draws if you please. Basically add a comment below, stating the number/s (eg 1. for Brideshead Revisited) and why you want to win. I’ll be picking them at random to make it fair.

Entries are welcome from today; Saturday 21.04.2014 and will close at the end of the day on Friday 25th April 2014. Hopefully I can announce the winner/s on Saturday.

Jx

PS. The skulls and other objects are not part of the prize, just the books :).

  1. Hey, what a great idea! So, I read the synopsis and a review for the four books I haven’t read to try and decide which one to enter into the draw for, but I like the sound of all four of them. So I’ll let the fates decide (not the I believe in fate!). Can I go for numbers 2,3,4 & 6 please. Thank you.

  2. This is super exciting! I’ve never entered one of these before! I like the plots of number 2 and number 3 🙂

  3. Id like to enter! Also first time giveaway entrant haha. I’d really lie to read number 4. Inherent Vice, I absolutely love books like that and I haven’t yet read this one. Looking forward to see what happens in the giveaway process 🙂

  4. Hello! I’m going to be greedy and enter a few draws, here is why: Draw 2 please because Madame Bovary sounds like a saucy woman; draw 4 because i’d like to read this book before the film is released later this year; and draw 6 because In One Person sounds like a very interesting story. Thanks!
