Documenting Melbourne Burger’s

The Ampére Burger from Bar Ampére was YUM.

So yum that I had to draw it and tell you about it. The tastiest burger I’ve had in a while.

I loved it so much I was this close **uses fingers to indicate a short distance to illustrate how close** to ordering a second one. (I should have ordered a second one.)

Just a FYI, it is a bit salty 🧂, i love salt so that made me happy. You can see the salt crystals atop the bun here in my drawing.

This was my second time at Bar Ampére, but I’ve been told that it’s quite the icon when it comes to the Melbourne Bar experience. It’s a few doors down from Gin Palace (which, shocking I know, I haven’t been to) and apparently in their heyday VIP’s could travel between Bar Ampére and Gin Palace through the back passages and avoid the queues! My friend and I tried to do that but were told that it is no longer possible.
