Sam LOVES cooking. Here’s me documenting everything he cooked this week. Not pictured is a Banana and Choc bit cake which was demolished within a few days (by Sam.)
He got a pasta maker from his friends for his birthday and made pasta twice last week. It was funny because he got given the cookbook ‘ Saturday Night Pasta .’ Yet he cooked fresh pasta on Monday night and Tuesday night.
Italian Lamb Casserole with Shallots, Potatoes and Mint Sauce
This casserole was particularly ridiculous. The flavour of the lamb was out of this world. Can’t remember the last time we had a casserole. I had to look up what casserole actually meant and all I really understood was that it is a meal cooked in a casserole dish. We chatted about how you wouldn’t really get anything like this if you ate out. If you’re lucky you might find a casserole at some local pub. I can’t imagine that any pub casserole would taste as good as the one Sam made. We ate the casserole with bread and used said bread to soak up all the liquid on our plates. So yum.
