Mecca Chit Chat
Hi, I’m Juliet and I’m now a Mecca Cosmetica Chit Chat group member and a Rising Star.
I just joined the NEW MECCA FaceBook Group, Chit Chat and I am obsessed. It is so much fun. The last time I was in a chat group was the days of Ninemsn. With Chit Chat all of the conversations are out in the open and everyone is super friendly and willing to help. It’s a wonderful place whether you’re into beauty, or just curious about it.
Signing up to join the group was its own kind of fun. Usually, you’re asked a random question so the admins can approve your request. The Mecca Chit Chat questions felt more like a beauty quiz:
What is Your must-have, OG, all-time-favourite MECCA product?
What MECCA product did you most recently *add to cart*?
My current must-have is the Mecca Max Gloss Boss Lip Gloss in It Girl. It’s the only lip product I’ve used since it launched. And in my cart is the Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna. The best bronzer ever!
I don’t know if this group was created in response to the current situation, (the C-Word), or whether it was already in the pipelines before. But it’s just what we all need, especially since their announcement yesterday that they would be temporarily closing all stores.
Chit Chat not only being a place for beauty gurus and beauty lovers, it’s also where MECCA will share sneak peeks of new and exclusive brands, products and content. And if you’re missing being able to go into store and speak to MECCA Staff, MECCA Specialists are available in Chit Chat to help you as well.
The group was made public on the 25th of May, but it is already a wonderful beauty resource. I love that you can use the shortcut ‘Control F’ to search keywords in the group and easily find conversations relating to any topic in the group.
Being in Chit Chat feels similar to being at a blogger event. It’s a place where you find and connect with your people. As a beauty lover, the people in the group understand you and they feel the same way about beauty. You can’t help but want to be a part of it and share your love of beauty with everyone.
While in Chit Chat, I met Queenie. Queenie has a beauty fridge for storing her beauty products. I’ve since learnt that they are great for storing your products in the summer and are perfect for storing jade rollers, masks and more.
When I first joined I was a ‘New Member’ but after a few Chit Chat’s with some Beauty Queens I’ve been upgraded to a Rising Star. Look out Beyonce and Ariana!
